    TFS 2008 Question

In TFS 2k8 can we create build type on project file basis rather than solution file basis like in TFS 2k5 ?

    Re: TFS 2008 Question

    No.

If you use TFS 2005 you need Team Build 2005 and 2005 solution.

    And 2008 the same.

There is no real extensibility under Team Build...

    Re: TFS 2008 Question

Except that MSBuild does not support install projects, so its pretty much useless if your solution has these type of projects. Really unfortunately since I still need to do command line builds for our formal builds using the visual studio command line tools.
